- Ask the Butcher to cut the Lamb chops as double and not single.
- Marinate the Lamb chops with all the dry ingredients, ginger and garlic paste and let it rest for 4-5 hours
- Slice the onions lengthwise
- Take a heavy bottomed dish with a wide base and a tight fitting lid (like a dutch oven). Pour oil and put a layer of sliced onions. place the marinated chops over it. layer with onions again. if the lambchops don't fit in one layer, you can do multiple layers of chops and onions.
- Close lid, put on high and cook until steam starts building in the dish. Put it on sim and let cook for an hour. check if the chops are done.
- Continue cooking until the onions have caramelized and the chops and almost coming off the bone.
