Instructions to make Poppy Seed - Curd Cheesecake:
- Mix & blend the ingredients of the dough, forming a solid dough texture. Wrap it into a cling film and leave in the fridge for 30-40 minutes.
- All the ingredients for the poppy seed layer are put in a pot, cooking for 3-4 minutes. The set aside cooling down.
- For the Curd Cheese Layer, using a hand mixer, we make the curd cheese creamier texture, then stir the rest of the ingredients in.
- Take the dough out of the fridge and pin roll it out to round cake spring form, getting 2-3 cm larger than the actual spring form. Place into the form, laying into the bottom & around the side.
- Spoon the poppy seed filling into the dough evenly, then comes the curd cheese filling.
- Just slide the cake into the 175°C preheated oven for an hour. After an hour, turn the oven off and slightly open the door letting the cake to cool down in the oven.
